So, inspired by Kristann, I decided to start walking again with a five minute walk. I went to Forest Park, which was packed with Labor Day frolickers. I lucked into a parking place near the Muny where there was a Veterans' Festival with a band that was channeling Johnny Cash. I doodled around a bit, quickly using up my five minutes and then some. So, Day 1 of walking.
Forest Park is my favority place to walk. There are lots of paths and wonderful landscaping. My favorite quadrant is the area bounded by The Boathouse, The Art Museum, and the pool at the base of the Art Museum's hill. More later, perhaps even pictures.
